Meryman was alone in her den, and praying to God with all her heart. She was seeking God's direction and comfort. In her prayer she told God she was "practically a minister," and was startled when her thoughts were interrupted by this question: "Why aren't you?"

    It was that night she "communed with God," in a way she never had before. She realized all her struggles in life were part of God's divine plan to help her relate to people in need, and was grateful for every hardship.

   "You name it, I've probably gone through it," Pastor Reneé said. When she told her friends and family that God called her to the ministry, none of them were surprised. One friend aptly stated: "You talk about God all the time, anyway!"

   Reneé was attending a United Methodist Church but soon learned that she had to be a member for a year before she could take courses to become a minister. Feeling an urgency she could not explain, she started to write out sermons and have weekly Church Services at home, preaching mostly to her family, while seeking a college to continue her education.    Rev. Reneé Meryman and her husband Rick Meryman are dedicated to do their very best to serve God, their family and community with their God-given strengths and talents. Rick is the Music Director and Sound Engineer who records all church services for their ministry for those who are unable to attend due to health conditions or distance. Also, as a musician Rick provides the music for their service.

     The Merymans hope to build a church on the edge of their property.  Church Service is from 11:00am to 12:00 pm on the first and third Sunday of each month.
